Preparation for the Residential Weekend Workshop Groups
As part of the preliminary meetings of the workshop groups, participants in the Residential Weekend (5-6 October 2013) are reminded to bring an example of a good precedent in their particular subfields to discuss. This could be an article, book, artwork, campaign, object film clip. A laptop, projector and speakers will be available to present the material if required.
Filming and the UEA Diary Room
Speakers will have the opportunity to have their presentations recorded and participants are invited to talk about their own research interests to camera in our Diary Room. If you would like to be recorded, please contact Dr Matthew Sillence (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information. Due to scheduling restrictions, places are limited.
On Saturday evening, a buffet dinner will be held at the Take 5 bar and restaurant, just opposite the Maid's Head Hotel in the historic city centre, at 19:30.
The deadline for bookings at the buffet is now closed. If you have already booked, please remember to bring £12.50 with you to pay on Saturday 5 October at registration. Anyone wishing to join the group at the buffet dinner is welcome to do so, but will need to order their food separately at the bar. All drinks must be paid for separately.
