Introduction

Humanities in Human Rights is a UK network for scholars and students who are committed to understanding the importance of the arts and humanities for understanding the past and future of human rights.

The network began in 2013 as an AHRC-funded collaborative skills project designed for postgraduate and early career researchers in the arts, humanities and social sciences working on the politics of humanity and human rights today. The programme included a residential weekend taught by faculty of the Consortium for Humanities and Arts South-East England (CHASE), topic specific workshops and a showcase of research in London.  For more on this project see the Archive pages.
